The material for demanding 3D applications

maridur® is a moisture-resistant material used for the manufacture of complex components and three-dimensional mouldings in the maritime sector, high-quality interior fittings, furniture construction, as well as for wall and ceiling cladding and weather-resistant applications.
The material meets the highest standards of durability, dimensional stability and resistance.
Thanks to its uniform, consistent material composition, maridur® offers first-class surface quality – without layered structures or visible transitions. The result: elegant, flawless components that impress both visually and to the touch. At the same time, the homogeneous structure ensures high mechanical stability.

Compared to conventional wood-based materials such as plywood or MDF, milling and machining processes can be carried out without material-related differences in density. At processing temperatures of 120 to 150 °C, maridur® becomes flexible and malleable. Using vacuum presses with integrated heating stations or panel heaters, various geometries such as circles, waves or organic shapes can be created. After cooling, the workpiece can be further processed or finished with 3D veneers.

In combination with high-quality veneer surfaces, maridur® is suitable for interior design applications as well as for use in damp and sanitary areas. maridur® is moisture-repellent and resistant to weathering.

A wide range of applications for luxury projects

Yachts, houses and more.

Outdoor

maridur®  is suitable for outdoor applications where dimensional stability and
moisture resistance are required.

Buildings & Facades

maridur® is ideal for facades, wall cladding and architectural features. Even complex shapes can be produced with precision.

Yachts

In luxury yacht interiors, maridur® is ideal for high-quality, bespoke moulded parts and surface finishes.

2D & 3D thermal forming

At temperatures between 120 °C and 150 °C, maridur® becomes malleable. This makes it ideal for creating both two-dimensional and complex three-dimensional shapes.

More

maridur® is ideal whenever moisture-repellent properties, mouldability and good workability are required.

Interior

maridur® offers a wide range of applications for interior design – from furniture and shopfitting to wall and ceiling cladding, as well as custom-made mouldings.

Wet-areas

Thanks to its closed-cell structure,
maridur®  is suitable for damp and wet areas. The material can be used for cladding, furniture or structural elements.
